Africa Coffee Park served over 4,500 hot cups and more than 15,000 iced cold brews at the national presidential swearing-in at Kololo Independence Grounds.
It is the largest single service the team has run, and it was run on Uganda’s biggest stage. Guests, delegates and the general public drank coffee grown, processed, roasted and packed in Ntungamo, not coffee grown here and finished somewhere else.
That distinction is the whole argument. A cup served at Kololo under the ACP banner is a short, legible version of what the park is for: value added at origin, in the district where the cherry was picked.
Thanks to the team who worked the stations through the day, and to everyone who stopped to ask where the coffee came from.
