Roasting live on the stand at the Coffee & Cocoa Expo

Day two at the Coffee & Cocoa Expo in Kampala: the team is roasting coffee live on the stand with a sample roaster, so visitors can watch value being created from the bean.

Africa Coffee Park is exhibiting at the Coffee & Cocoa Expo 2026 at the Kampala Serena Hotel, on stand H9 & H10 — and on day two the stand is busy.

The team brought a sample roaster and is running it live. Visitors can watch green beans go into the drum and finished roasted coffee come out the other side, which is a far more convincing argument than a leaflet about value addition.

That is deliberate. Value addition starts with roasting, and it is the step most people never see. Uganda exports enormous quantities of green coffee and buys back the finished article; the whole point of the park is to move that step onshore.

Alongside the roaster, the stand carries the range made in Ntungamo — Inspire Africa Arabica and Robusta, espresso capsules, cold brew and HARAKA Instant. See it, taste it, take it home.
