Coffee has always carried energy. The idea behind Inspire Africa Cold Brew is to make that energy easy to reach for: a smooth, refreshing coffee in a can, ready to drink, rather than a cup that has to be made.
It is also an argument about where the value sits. Through innovation and value addition, the team is turning Uganda’s coffee into products that fit modern lifestyles, so that more of the worth of every bean is created here, at the park in Rwashameire, and not somewhere else along the chain.
