The Coffee Marathon Uganda 2026
Run. Celebrate.
Change lives.
More than a race — a festival of coffee, community and Ugandan pride. Four distances across the highlands of Ntungamo, headlined by Tyrese Gibson live in concert.
2026 Edition Theme “Empowering the IK Community of Karamoja through Coffee Farming to End Poverty”
About the event
More than a race. A movement.
The Coffee Marathon Uganda was born from a single conviction: that the women and communities whose hands grow Uganda’s coffee should share in the wealth it creates. Over five years it has grown into one of East Africa’s most celebrated sporting and cultural events.
The 2026 edition takes place on 3 October at Africa Coffee Park in Ntungamo District — the same estate where Inspire Africa Coffee Park roasts and exports its single-origin Ugandan coffee. Runners traverse coffee farms, highland paths, and the scenic shoreline of Lake Nyabihoko.
This year’s beneficiary is the IK Community of Karamoja — Uganda’s most marginalized indigenous community. Proceeds fund seedlings, training, and market access to lift households out of poverty through sustainable coffee farming.

About the festival
